How to conduct an induction programme | BRAZ-TESOL RN

Letícia Sales

Abstract: As we move from being a teacher to being a coordinator at a language school, we start to take certain things for granted, namely how difficult the first steps in one’s career in education can be. At this workshop, I’m going to show novice coordinators the 3 key factors they must have in mind when welcoming new teachers, whether novice or experienced, into their team.

Speakers’ bio: Leticia Sales is a carioca teacher and trainer. Because she’s a true believer that learning teaching is an ongoing process, she’s always concocting new ways in which she can perfect her skills. As a result, she’s taken the Cambridge Celta and sat for a variety of language certifications, such as the CPE, which she holds. She’s currently a branch coordinator at Centro Britanico Taquara, and in spite of her tight schedule she still manages to find time to study for Delta module 1.

Hope to see you all there!
